3. Purposes & legal basis

3.1. Data processing to perform the contract concluded between you and us (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR)

In order to perform the existing contractual relationship, provide the services owed and send you contract documents, we — as well as third parties or processors commissioned by us — process the following data about you, provided you have given it to us when concluding the contract or in the course of the contractual relationship:

• personal details (name, date of birth, address, telephone, fax number, email address and, where applicable, website)
• bank details (IBAN, bank, account holder) and payment information

3.2. Use of data on the basis of your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR)

In the case of promotional contact, and subject to postal mailing, we will only contact you via the communication channels you have consented to. For this purpose we use your data for the following purposes: Quality assurance: to continuously improve our services, products and offerings for you, we conduct surveys about your satisfaction and your experiences from your contractual relationship.

• General and personalised advertising.
• Insofar as you have granted us a corresponding SEPA direct debit mandate, we also use your bank account details. Via the SEPA direct debit mandate we collect outstanding amounts in accordance with the contractual agreements.

4. Obligation to provide the data

Providing your name and address is mandatory. If you do not provide us with this information, no contract can be concluded with us. All other data is provided voluntarily.

5. Automated decision-making including profiling

MuM does not carry out any profiling measures.

6. Data transfer to a third country

Data transfers to countries outside the EU and the European Economic Area (“third countries”) arise in the context of administering, developing and operating IT systems. Transfers only take place in the following cases:

• The transfer is generally permissible because a statutory basis for permission is met or you have consented to the data transfer, and
• the special requirements for a transfer to a third country are met.

Data is only passed on where legally required or necessary for the performance of the contract.

8. Storage period and criteria for determining the duration

We store your data for the duration of the existing contract and, after the contract with you has ended, for a period until the completion of the tax audit of the last calendar year in which you were our customer. Where statutory retention periods exist, we are obliged to store the data until those periods expire. After the statutory retention obligations — which arise primarily from commercial and tax law (in particular Sections 147 AO and 257 HGB) — have expired, we delete this data.

For promotional contact, we store your data until you object to its use, withdraw your consent, or such contact is no longer legally permitted. We store your remaining data for as long as we need it to fulfil the specific purpose (e.g. to perform or process the contract) and delete it once the purpose no longer applies.

9. Processing of personal data on our websites

Each time content is requested from this website, your relevant access data is stored. Relevant access data includes the page from which the file was requested, the name of the requested file, the date, time and duration of the request, the amount of data transferred, and the access status (e.g. file transferred, file not found). This data is stored and evaluated exclusively for statistical purposes and is under no circumstances passed on to third parties.

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses “cookies”, text files stored on your computer that enable an analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website is usually transferred to and stored on a Google server in the USA. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics is not merged with other Google data. We have also extended Google Analytics on this website with the “anonymizeIP” code. This guarantees the masking of your IP address so that all data is collected anonymously. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address transferred to a Google server in the USA and shortened there.

On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity, and to provide further services to the website operator relating to website use and internet use. You can prevent the storage of cookies by setting your browser software accordingly; however, we point out that in this case you may not be able to use all functions of this website to their full extent.

Insofar as we process your data on the basis of consent you have given, you can withdraw this consent at any time with effect for the future. Use of web fonts
